Skippers records read as NAME (Win,Loss,Draw)
We are certainly in for a monster finish with just 2 rounds to go. Only 3 points separate 1st to 5th and anyone of those sides could finish on top or miss out on finals completely. After that the only thing we know is that Leeming will be heading back to white. Some big games this week so let’s get into the matchups

OUTS: Rollings

We kick things off with the match of the round as the premiers host the Saints. These 2 teams do have the toughest run home and the loser of this one will have the pressure on them next week. The premiers with a couple of points up their sleeve and can just about be the first team into the finals with a good win here today. The Saints are repeating last years efforts and have won here before so will go in confident. Should be plenty of noise in this one but I will back the premiers.
Mt Lawley 6-2

OUTS:

The Millers dropping out of the 4 when they went down to the Eagles and they can’t afford a hick up in this one. Ideally they will want 7 or 8 here in this one as they head over to take on the Saints next week. Sorrento are in all sorts and with Cockburn chasing them down need as many points as possible. Millers I think could get an egg.
Sth Perth 8-0

Leeming v Cambridge

Cambridge
Jeremy Thomas, Andrew Tennant, Steven Rushforth, Clive Adams (218W ,171L ,15D)

Grant Allen, Scott Palmer, Deb Saunders, Blake Nairn (86W ,50L ,4D)
Stuart Lofthouse, Don Leeson, David Jones, Kevin Crowle (6W ,5L ,0D)

OUTS:

Leeming v Cambridge Everything to play for here for the Knights as they travel to Leeming. They will be looking for as many points as possible as they host the premiers in the last round. Leeming it’s their last home game in premier and will be looking for a miracle upset to finish things off. The Knights wont want to take them lightly but should get the job done.
Cambridge 7 -1

Doubleview v Cockburn

Doubleview
Gavin Faulkner, Stephen Cerff, Tom Whitfield, Bradley White (9W ,8L ,1D)
Michael Leed, Bradley Pearce, Anthony Williams, Kyle McIlroy (138W ,121L ,7D)

Cockburn
Stephen West, Giuseppi Galipo, Jim Ricci, Marc Abonnel (17W ,17L ,2D)
Jim Bell, Ivan Mateljak, Josip (Joe) Marevic, Tony Krajancic (102W ,82L ,14D)
Mirko Musulin, Stephen McGill, Derek Gibson, Michael Simunovic (2W ,5L ,0D)
Brian Blagaich, Peter Burgess, Steve Srhoy, Jordan King (7W ,5L ,0D)
INS: No changes
OUTS:

Doubleview can really put some pressure on the Lions here and possibly get to safety if they can win their last 2. Cockburn are within striking range of Sorrento and any points here will help when they face Leeming at home in the last round. Doubleview will be chasing an egg and I think they just might.
Doubleview 8-0

Bassendean
Scott Bermingham, John Holman, Linton Pike, Wesley Neilson (10W ,20L ,1D)

INS: Downey, Butler
OUTS: Packer, Lill

A big one here to finish as the Lions host the Eagles. The Lions have gone from finals contention to playing for survival and now have it all to do. Should they lose this it will be a survival last round when they head to Sorrento next week. The Eagles will be looking to win this one and set themselves up for when they host Doubleview in the last round. Manning will love the grass at the Den and I think the Lions might be in trouble going into the last round
Manning 7-1
